The idea came to me at 2am — postpartum, exhausted, scrolling. I stumbled across an article about a woman in Texas who styled porches with pumpkins for fall and something about it just clicked. After spending years working in a hospital, I needed something that felt like mine — something creative, outside, and a little slower.
When we moved to Virginia, I decided to stop sitting on the idea and actually build it. The Curated Porch is what lets me be home with my child, get outside, use my hands, and make people's front doors feel like the season dressed up just for them.

Whether you have a clear vision or just know you want it to look good, I'll take it from idea to reality — so you can pull up to your home and let out a sigh of relief knowing you made the right call.

Honestly? This business came out of one of the harder seasons of my life.
I was postpartum, running on little sleep, and searching for something that felt like me again. When I found this idea I couldn't let it go — because it checked every box I didn't even know I needed. I get to be home with my child. I get to be outside. I get to use my hands and my eye and turn an idea into something real and beautiful that someone gets to come home to every day.
The joy I feel when a porch comes together — when I step back and see the finished result — is hard to describe. It's pride, it's accomplishment, it's that feeling of yes, that's exactly it.

What working with me looks like
No homework required on your end — here's how it goes:
We start with a virtual consultation where you share some photos of your space and we talk through your style, your vision, and any pieces you already have that you'd like worked in. From there, I take care of everything — sourcing, planning, and pulling it all together.
Then I show up and style your space from start to finish. You come home to a porch that looks like it was plucked straight off your Pinterest board.
No trips to the store, no second-guessing, no hauling anything in or out. Just a beautifully styled exterior that you didn't have to think about.
And when the season is over? I also offer takedown services so you don't have to deal with that part either.
The Curated Porch is based in Northern Virginia and serves the greater DMV area — including Washington D.C. and Maryland.
Traveling a little further from home? I'd love to make it work. Installs outside of my standard service area are available for an additional travel fee — just reach out and we'll figure it out together.
